Georgian pianist David Khrikuli, a prizewinner of several international competitions, joins the orchestra as soloist in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 – one of the composer’s most beloved works. The programme also features Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a work noted for its strong melodic character and influences from Czech folk music.
